Saraswathi Matriculation School

Over in Valapady, we have been running this matriculation school for quite a few years. Salem is a busy area, but our spot in Valapady feels a bit more like home. The school is basically where we all hang out from morning until the afternoon. We have the usual classrooms, a small area for the kids to run around, and a lot of books stacked in the cupboards. It is not a shiny new building, but it stays standing and keeps the rain off. We do not have a lot of administrative layers here. If a parent has a problem, they just come and talk to us directly at the front desk or in the hall. We know most of the people by their first names. It is a very local kind of setup. The teachers bring their own lunches and eat together, talking about things other than school sometimes. We teach the standard subjects and try to make sure the students understand their lessons before they go home. It is a lot of repetition and patience. The walls have some old charts on them, and the bells are a bit loud, but that is just how it has always been. We do not have a big marketing budget or anyone to write fancy things for us. This is just a place where kids come to learn and we come to work. It is honest and it is what we know how to do best.
