Oxaliss International School

Oxaliss International School is right on the Salem Chennai Main Road in Thatchur. It is a very busy spot because of the highway, so there are always big trucks and cars zooming past the front. We have been part of this Kallakurichi area for a while now. We actually have a fair amount of space since we are not right in the middle of a crowded city center. The building is easy enough to spot from the main road if you are driving by. Inside, it is just a regular school with rows of wooden desks and plenty of notebooks and chalk. We have an international label in our name, but the day-to-day life here is very grounded and simple. We have students coming in from all the nearby villages and the local town. The staff usually gets here pretty early to beat the heavy traffic on the main road. We do not have any fancy marketing teams or anything like that. It is just us teachers and the office staff keeping the whole place running. The weather can get quite hot on this particular stretch of the road, so we really value the shade from the few trees we have on the school grounds. We spend our days making sure the classes stay on schedule and the kids are behaving. It is a lot of work, but it is just what we do every day. We are a practical place for students living in the Kallakurichi district.
