Nsk Vaishinavi Smart Matric School

Our school is found at 543, Palikadu, in the Gorimedu area of Salem. It’s a smart matric school, which just means we try to use some modern tools for the kids when we can. The building is several stories high and stands out a bit on our street. We don’t have a huge campus with gardens, but we make the most of the space we have. The rooms are a decent size, and we try to keep them as cool as possible during the Salem summers. Most of our students come from the local neighborhood in the 636008 area. We see the same parents every day at the gate. It’s a very regular, local place. We don’t have a big team for advertising or anything like that. Most of our new students come to us because their older siblings or neighbors were here before. The teachers are practical and focus on getting the children through their lessons. We have a small computer lab and some basic facilities for the kids. The office is a busy little room where all the administration happens. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit backed up, but we always catch up. It’s not a fancy or polished institution; it’s just a school for the local community. We focus on the basics and making sure the students attend their classes and do their homework. It’s a simple life for us here in Palikadu.
