Nemo Pre School

We are located at 410/1, right on Plot No.1 along Periyakollapatti Road here in Gorimedu. It’s a regular building. Nothing is too flashy about it. But it works for what we do at Nemo Pre School. I usually get here early to open up the shutters. I make sure the place is aired out before the kids start showing up. The street gets a bit busy around drop-off time. So there’s always some noise from the bikes passing by. We’ve got a small area inside where we keep the mats and the little tables. It’s mostly just us spending the day looking after the little ones. Their parents are usually at work. I try to keep the place tidy. Though with kids around, things end up on the floor pretty fast. We have some shelves for their bags. There is a spot for their shoes near the entrance. It's a simple life here. We don't have a big fancy playground. There is just some space to move around and do basic lessons. Sometimes we sit on the floor and just talk. The building itself has been around for a while. We are just a part of the local neighborhood, doing our bit. People stop by to ask about timings. Or they just say hello while they’re walking down Periyakollapatti Road. It’s a practical setup for the families living nearby. We just focus on getting through the day. We make sure everyone is safe and has something to do.
