Be You Montessori House Of Children

Our place is located at 7, Rangi St in the Gugai area of Salem. It’s a bit of a tight street, but we’ve made a good spot for the kids here at Be You Montessori House Of Children. It is a small house really, which makes it feel less like a big scary school and more like a home for them. We spend our days watching the little ones move around and pick up their own activities. Thammannan Road is just nearby, so we get a lot of local foot traffic and noise from the neighborhood. Salem is a busy town, but on Rangi Street, things feel a little more tucked away. The kids have their shelves and their little chairs. We mostly just stay out of their way and make sure they are safe while they work with the wooden blocks and other materials. It can get messy, especially during lunch or when they are doing art, but that’s just how it goes with children. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated rules. It is just about letting them be themselves in a space that fits their size. We keep the gate closed and the rooms tidy. Most of the parents are from the neighborhood, so we see them at the market or the bus stop too. It’s a very local kind of thing we have going on here in 636006.
