A R Matriculation School

A R Matriculation School sits at No 5/196 on the Omalur Main Road, right near the Five Road area in Kuranguchavadi. It is a very well-known part of Salem, so we get a lot of traffic passing by. The school is easy to spot from the main road. Because we are in Alagapuram, we have families from all the nearby neighborhoods sending their children here. The mornings are always a bit chaotic with vans and bikes dropping off students. We have a decent-sized building that has been expanded over the years as more kids joined. Inside, it is the usual school setup with blackboards and rows of benches. The playground is a bit dusty, but the kids don't seem to mind when they are playing football or running around. Salem can be very dry, so we spend a lot of time watering the few plants we have near the entrance. Our teachers are mostly local people who have lived in Salem their whole lives. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just open up every morning, teach the lessons, and make sure everyone is safe until the bell rings at the end of the day. Sometimes we have small events or functions in the main hall, which brings all the parents in. It’s a busy, noisy, and honest place where we just get on with the job of schooling each day. It’s a good environment for our community.
