Bp Traders

Bp Traders is located over at 75 Longly Road in the Shevapet area. This is mainly a wholesale spot, so things are a bit different here compared to a regular corner shop. We deal with bulk items, mostly for other small retailers who come in to restock their own shelves. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, just a plain front with a heavy shutter. Inside, it's mostly crates and large sacks. We spend most of our day loading and unloading trucks that pull up on the side of the road. It gets pretty hectic around noon. The traffic on Longly Road can be a real headache, especially when the big lorries are trying to turn. I started working here after finishing school because my uncle needed help with the accounts and moving the heavy stuff. We keep track of everything in big ledgers. It’s dusty work, and your hands get dirty from the sacks, but it keeps us busy. We don’t do much advertising; people in Shevapet just know where we are. We have a couple of guys who help with the lifting, and we try to get orders out as fast as we can. It’s a straightforward business. We buy things in large quantities and sell them in smaller ones. That’s about it. We’ve been at this same spot for a long time and don't plan on moving anywhere else soon.
