Mihona Farmers Producer Company Limited

Starting from Bajrang Singh’s place here in Banthri Miona. It’s mostly just us farmers coming together because doing things alone is getting harder these days. We sit around at the village spot and figure out what to do with the crops. Mihona is a small place. You won’t see big glass buildings here. Just the fields and some storage. We handle the paperwork and the seeds right from the village. It gets dusty in the summer and the roads aren't always great, but we manage. My neighbor says we should have done this years ago. It’s not fancy. We have a small space where we keep the records. Sometimes the electricity goes out so we just wait. People know where to find us if they need to talk about the harvest. We don't have a big office staff, just a few of us who know the land. We talk about the rain a lot. That’s just how it is here. Most of the time, we are out in the dirt, not sitting behind desks. If you come by Banthri, you'll see how we work. It’s simple. We try to get the prices right for everyone in the group. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of waiting for the right season. Nothing happens fast in farming. We just keep going, year after year, hoping for a good turnout. That’s pretty much the whole story of us here.
