If you’re looking for us, we are right in Shop No. 1 on the first floor of the Arbuda Complex. It’s easy to find because it’s near the health center in Khedbrahma. Poshina Farmer Producer Company Limited is run by people who live right here in the Sabarkantha district. We aren't some big city firm; we’re just local people trying to make things work for the farmers in this area. The complex can get quite crowded, especially in the mornings when people are visiting the clinic next door. Our office is a small room where we keep our files and meet up to discuss the harvest. Khedbrahma is a nice town, and being centrally located helps us stay in touch with everyone. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything. We just help move the produce and make sure the paperwork is done correctly for the members. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the internet is slow, so we just wait it out. It’s a very hands-on job. We spend a lot of time out in the heat and then come back to the shop to sort things out. It’s not a glamorous business, but it’s ours. We have a few chairs for visitors and a lot of folders. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay busy. It keeps us out of trouble and helps the local economy stay moving.
