Pioneer English Medium School

You can find us about five kilometers away from Sunarian Chowk, right next to the IIM campus here in Rohtak. It’s a bit of a specific location, but most people know the area because of the institute next door. We’ve been here for a while, providing an English medium education to students in this part of town. The school is set up to be functional. We have a few rows of classrooms and a small area for the kids to congregate. Being near the IIM means the surroundings are a bit more developed than some other outskirts, but it’s still fairly quiet. Our days are filled with the usual school stuff like marking attendance, helping kids with their English pronunciation, and making sure the lunch break doesn’t get too out of hand. The staff room is usually a mess of books and tea cups, which is just how we like it. We don’t really go for the high-end look. We’re more focused on whether the roof is leaking or if we need more chalk. It’s a basic, honest place to work and learn. Parents from the surrounding villages and the edge of Rohtak city bring their kids here because it’s convenient. We just show up every day, open the gates, and get to work with the students who come through our doors.
