Lawrecne Public School

Lawrecne Public School is tucked away in Booster Wali Gali, near Mata Dharwaja in Rohtak. If you know that part of town, you know it can be a bit narrow and busy. The school is right there in the middle of the local life. We’ve been operating out of this building for quite a while now. It’s not a massive campus, but we make the most of the space we have. Every morning, the street fills up with kids walking or coming on cycles. You can hear the morning assembly from the nearby houses. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment or a huge budget for decorations. The walls are covered with student work and the usual charts. It’s a very local feel here. Most of the parents are our neighbors, so we see them at the market or the temple as well. Rohtak summers are tough, so the fans are always on full blast in the classrooms to keep everyone comfortable. We aren't trying to compete with those big international schools. We just want to make sure the kids in our street get a decent education without having to travel too far. The staff is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from teaching to fixing a broken desk or helping a kid who fell down. It’s a bit chaotic at times, but that’s just how a neighborhood school is.
