You’ll find us out at the 7 Mile Stone on Gohana Road, which is a bit of a drive from the main center of Rohtak. It’s actually nice being a little further out because there is more room to breathe and less noise from the city traffic. We have a decent amount of space here for the students. The school has been part of this stretch of road for a good while. Most mornings start with the buses pulling in and the kids rushing to get to their desks. It’s a standard routine, nothing too special. We have various classrooms and some outdoor areas where the students hang out during their breaks. The weather out here can be a bit harsh, either very dusty or quite rainy, so we’re always fixing something or cleaning up the grounds. It’s a lot of work keeping a school this size going, but we manage. The staff mostly comes from Rohtak or the nearby villages. We don’t really go in for anything flashy. We just provide a place for kids to go to school and do their work. Sometimes we have meetings about the curriculum, but mostly it’s just the daily grind of teaching and managing the facilities. It’s a practical setup for the families living along Gohana Road who need a school nearby that isn't right in the middle of the crowded market areas.
