Vinayak Public School

Our school is located right opposite Laxmi Nagar in the Gutua area of Ranchi. It’s a bit different from the other schools in the city because we are tucked away near Heritage. The road outside can get a bit narrow when the parents are dropping off their kids in the morning, but we’ve mostly figured out the timing by now. It’s a local school where most of the families know each other. You see the same faces every morning at the gate. We don't have any big corporate backing or a fancy website that some of the newer schools in Ranchi have started using. We just focus on what happens inside the classrooms. The building is sturdy and has plenty of space for the children to move around during their breaks. Sometimes the monkeys from the nearby trees come onto the roof, which makes the kids laugh, though it’s a bit of a headache for the maintenance staff. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many students running around, there's always a bit of a mess by the end of the day. We don't make big promises about being the number one school. We just show up every day, open the gates, and do the work of teaching. It's a practical way of doing things. Most of our staff have been here for years, so we have a good rhythm going.
