Birsa Public School

Our school is located in Namkum, right off NH-7 in Ranchi. It’s a part of town that feels a bit more open than the city center. We are surrounded by some greenery, which is nice when the weather is good. The building itself is simple and doesn't have any of those modern glass walls you see in newer places. We have been here in Namkum for a while, and most of the local families know us by now. The students usually come from nearby neighborhoods, and many of them walk to school. We spend our days teaching the standard subjects and making sure the kids stay on track with their work. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when it's recess time and everyone is out on the field. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just keep our records in ledgers and use chalk on the boards. The classrooms can get a bit chilly in the winter, so the kids often wear their heavy sweaters inside. Our staff consists of people who have lived in Ranchi most of their lives. We just focus on the basics here. There isn't much drama; we just show up, do the teaching, and head home when the sun starts to go down. It’s a practical way to run a school and it seems to work well enough for the people around here.
