Vijaya High School

If you head down Road No 5 on Patel Nagar Road, you’ll find us easily enough. Vijaya High School is right there in the Hatia section of Ranchi. It’s a practical building, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. We’ve got the older students here, so the vibe is a bit different than the primary schools nearby. The halls are usually full of teenagers talking or rushing to their next class. We’ve been operating out of this spot for years. The desks are wooden and a bit scratched up, and the blackboards have seen a lot of chalk. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just a few of us in the office handling the paperwork and the teachers doing their thing in the rooms. During the breaks, the courtyard gets quite loud with everyone running around or eating their lunch. We deal with the usual stuff like broken fans or needing more supplies. It’s just part of running a school in this part of Ranchi. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up. Most of the kids walk here from the surrounding colonies. We know most of the families around Patel Nagar. It’s a community thing more than anything else. We stay busy with the exams and the daily lessons, keeping our heads down and doing the work that needs to be done. It is just a normal school day.
