Surendranath Centenary School

Our place is located right on Hazaribagh Road in the Dipatoli area. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the traffic outside the walls. We have a good-sized campus that stays pretty crowded throughout the day. The morning starts with everyone rushing through the gates before the final bell. We try to keep the hallways clear, but with so many students, it’s always a bit of a squeeze during the break times. The teachers here have their hands full with the syllabus, but we manage to get through it every year. We have some decent lab spaces and a library that gets fairly dusty if we don't keep after it. It’s a practical kind of school where we focus on the subjects and getting through the exams. Most families around here have known us for a long time. The playground is usually full of dust because the kids play so hard on it. We don't have many frills, just desks, boards, and books. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud in the summer heat, but nobody complains much. It’s just a regular school day, every day, from Monday to Saturday. We see a lot of former students around Dipatoli, and they usually say hello. It's just a part of the neighborhood life on this side of the road, and we try to keep things moving along steadily.
