Shatrughan Prasad Singh Institute Of Nursing & Paramedical Private Limited

Our institute is located on Bariatu Road in Ranchi, right near the Birsa Blood Bank. If you know the area, it’s the Hill Area, number 52 to be exact. Om Prakash Singh is usually around the office. We deal with nursing and paramedical training here at Shatrughan Prasad Singh Institute. The building is right where a lot of medical activity happens because of the blood bank and the other clinics nearby. It can get pretty crowded on the street outside with traffic and people moving back and forth all day. We have classrooms and some basic equipment for the students to practice with. It’s not a five-star facility but it has what is needed for learning the basics of healthcare. We see a lot of young people coming in from the surrounding districts hoping to find a job in a hospital or a clinic later on. My desk is usually covered in forms and student records. Sometimes the rain in Jharkhand makes the commute tough for everyone, but we usually open the doors on time. We don't really do much advertising; people mostly just hear about us from their neighbors or friends who came here before. It’s a straightforward operation. We just want to make sure the kids know how to take a pulse or handle a bandage properly before they head out to work. It’s a lot of responsibility but we just take it one day at a time. It keeps us busy.
