Science City

Science City is located over at Dangra Toli on Purulia Road in Ranchi. It’s a bit away from the main hub of Circular Road, but it’s still a busy area. We have a modest setup here. The building we are in has been around for quite some time. We have a couple of rooms that we use for teaching and a small area where we keep some basic science equipment. It isn't a high-tech lab, just the simple things needed to show how things work. Most of our day is spent with students who want to get better at science subjects. We have a lot of books and charts on the walls to help with that. Purulia Road can be a bit difficult with traffic, so we are used to people arriving a little late. We don't have a formal reception or anything. Usually, one of us is just sitting at the main desk near the entrance. We handle everything ourselves, from cleaning the boards to talking to parents. It’s a very hands-on way of running a place. We don't spend money on advertising or big signs. People in the neighborhood know we are here. The rain can be quite loud on the roof during the summer months, but it’s a nice place to be. We just focus on the lessons and helping the kids understand their schoolwork. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. We’ve been here for years and we plan to stay and keep doing exactly what we do.
