About Holy Child Public School – Education in Ranchi
Holy Child Public School sits along Itki Road in the Hehal part of Ranchi. It’s a fairly straightforward place. The road can get pretty congested, especially with people heading towards the center of town. We’ve got a plain building that doesn’t stand out too much, which is fine by us. The staff is a mix of people who have lived in Hehal for years and some who come from other parts of Ranchi. Every morning, the sound of the traffic blends in with the noise of the students arriving. We don’t have a lot of big slogans or fancy promises. It’s just a school where children come to sit and learn. The classrooms are simple, with wooden desks and regular blackboards. In the winter, the sun feels nice in the open areas of the school. We usually spend our lunch breaks chatting about things other than work, like the price of vegetables or the latest news in town. It feels like a small family in some ways because we see the same faces every single day. The parents are mostly local folks who want a school that is close to home. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when it rains and everyone is trying to leave at once. It’s just a normal, everyday school doing what it needs to do for the neighborhood. No more, no less.
