It’s a bit away from the main city noise, which is nice for a school. We have a decent amount of space here. The building is functional, and we’ve tried to make use of the land around us for the kids to play. It gets a bit chilly in the winter mornings, so the students usually come wrapped in heavy sweaters. We have been serving the Kanke community for a while now. Most of our students come from the nearby villages and farms. The teachers are straightforward people who just want the kids to learn their basics well. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or expensive equipment, just books, chalk, and some charts on the walls. It’s a quiet life out here on the Pithoria Road. Sometimes the school bus has a bit of trouble with the roads if there’s been heavy rain, but we always figure it out. We start our day early and finish up by the afternoon. It’s a very traditional way of running things. We know most of the parents by name because we see them at the market or around the neighborhood. It’s a close-knit place that feels very familiar to everyone who lives nearby. We just focus on giving the kids a steady environment to grow up in.
