Delhi Public School

We are situated on the ground floor of a building on Bariatu Road, right near Karam Toli Chowk in Ranchi. It’s a very central spot, so getting here is usually easy for the parents, even if the traffic gets a bit heavy in the afternoons. Being on the ground floor means we don’t have to deal with too many stairs, which is nice for the younger ones. The space isn't massive, but we've arranged the classrooms to make the most of what we have. It’s a bit of a squeeze when everyone is here at once, but we make it work. The walls are painted a neutral color and we have some basic charts hanging up. You can hear the sounds of the city outside—the horns and the people walking by—but once the lessons start, you kind of forget about it. We have a small desk at the entrance where someone usually sits to say hello to visitors. It’s not a corporate office setup; it’s more like a busy workshop where kids are learning. There are always piles of books that need sorting and the staff room is always full of tea mugs. We try to keep things organized, but in a school, something is always being moved around. It’s just a practical place for education in a busy part of Ranchi. We focus on getting through the day's lessons and making sure everyone is where they need to be.
