A One Public School

A One Public School sits out on Neori Road. If you know Ranchi, you know it can get a bit busy out this way, but our spot is okay. We’ve got the school set up here so kids in Neori don’t have to travel too far into the main city. It’s a basic building with enough rooms for the classes we run. In the mornings, you’ll see the yellow buses pulling up and the kids jumping out with their big bags. They always seem to have so many books these days. We spend a lot of time just making sure the kids stay focused on their work. Sometimes it's hard when it’s hot outside. The staff room is usually full of notebooks that need marking. We don’t have a massive field, but there’s enough space for them to run around a bit during lunch. We bought some new benches last year because the old ones were getting splinters. It’s just us trying to keep things running smoothly. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when there's a local festival or if the power goes out. We just open the windows and keep going with the lessons. Parents stop by the office quite often to ask about their child's progress or just to chat about school fees. We try to be fair and listen to everyone. It’s a small community school, and we just do our best with what we have.
