Mahalaxmi Oil Mill

Mahalaxmi Oil Mill is situated right on Rajkot Road. It’s a busy stretch of road and you can usually smell the oil being pressed when you get close to our place. We’ve been operating here for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but it does the job. Inside, the machines are pretty much always running, making that steady humming sound that we’ve all gotten used to. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Usually, you’ll find us near the machines or out front where the trucks pull in to load up. The floor is often a bit slick, so we have to be careful where we walk. It’s a simple operation where we take the raw materials and turn them into oil. We don't spend money on big advertisements or anything. Most people around here just know where we are because we’ve been on Rajkot Road forever. We have a small crew and we all know our roles. It’s dusty and loud work, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing the oil come out at the end of the process. Sometimes the machines need a lot of looking after, but we know how to handle them. We just open up early in the morning and stay until the work is finished for the day. There’s always someone around if you need to ask about the current batch or when the next press is happening.
