Alka Ingredients

Our shop is over at Sardar Nagar Main Road, right across from the ABC Medical Store at 7 Golden Space. It’s a busy part of town, and we’re usually right in the middle of it. We deal with all sorts of ingredients that people need for their kitchens or small businesses. Boxes are always coming in and going out, so the place can look a bit cluttered at times. It’s not a fancy showroom, just a practical space where we stock everything from powders to liquids used in food. We’ve been operating from this location for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent checking inventory or helping customers who come in looking for specific items they can't find elsewhere. It’s hard work, and the phone doesn't stop ringing much. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just provide the supplies people ask for. Sometimes it’s a bit dusty with all the bags of flour or starch moving around, but that’s just part of the job. Being on the main road helps since people can find us easily, though parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the shelves aren't empty. It’s a straightforward business, really. We open up early and stay until the work is done. There is always a lot of heavy lifting involved but that is just how the ingredient business goes.
