Gujarat Essence Stores

We have been here at Shreenath Krupa for quite a long time now. Most people around Raghuvir Para know the shop as the place to get food essences and those small things you need for cooking that are hard to find elsewhere. We started in Shop No. 7 and 8 because we needed the space for all the different bottles and powders we keep on the shelves. It gets a bit crowded sometimes when we have a lot of stock coming in, but we manage to keep things where they belong. We deal with lots of local bakers and people who just like to make sweets at home. Sometimes the smell of vanilla or pineapple carries out onto the street when we are opening new crates. It's just a regular store, nothing fancy about the counters or the way we display things. We spend most of our day talking to customers about what they are making and figuring out which flavor works for their recipe. Most of the people who come in have been buying from us for years. We keep the doors open six days a week and try to keep everything stocked so nobody leaves empty-handed. It is a simple business, really. We just focus on getting the right items to the people in the neighborhood. The shelves are full of various extracts and food colors, and we know exactly where every single item is kept, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. We don't have a website or anything, people just walk in.
