Nutan Saurashtra Ice Factory

Running the Nutan Saurashtra Ice Factory keeps us pretty busy every day. We are located on Kuvadava Road, right near the Deluxe Cinema and just across from the Fern Hotel. It’s a high-traffic area, but inside the factory, it’s all about keeping things cold. We mostly focus on making the ice and keeping the supply moving for the local shops and businesses around here. It’s a noisy place with the compressors running all the time, and there’s always water on the floor from the blocks. It’s not a fancy office or a retail shop where everything is polished. It’s industrial and functional. We’ve been at this location for years, and the neighbors are used to the trucks coming and going at all hours. My father started this business, and I took it over later on. We don’t do much talking to the public, we just focus on the production and making sure everything is made properly. The machinery is old but reliable, though we have to fix things ourselves quite often to keep the line moving. It’s heavy work, lifting the blocks and loading them up, but it’s what we know how to do. We don’t have a big marketing plan. People who need ice in this part of the city know where to find us. It’s just honest work in a cold room every single day.
