Mohan Oil Mill

We've been here at Mohan Oil Mill for a good while now. Our place is right on Gam Main Road, pretty much across from Payal Metal. If you're coming down Narmada Ring Gali, you can't really miss the spot. It's a busy corner, but we like it that way. Mostly, our days are spent running the machines and making sure the oil is coming out right. It’s noisy work, and the smell of the seeds hangs in the air all day, but it’s what we do. People from the neighborhood stop by, sometimes just to say hello while they’re passing through the gali. The building isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we can get the work done. We handle the pressing ourselves, day in and day out. Sometimes the machinery acts up, and we have to spend a few hours fixing things up, but that’s just part of the routine. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just the mill and the front area where we talk to folks. It gets dusty, and things aren't always perfectly lined up on the shelves, but we know where everything is. Living and working on Gam Main Road means there’s always something going on outside. We see the same faces every morning. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here, nothing more than a local mill doing its thing near the metal shop. We just focus on the oil and keep the press moving.
