Gurukul Oil & Foods

We run Gurukul Oil & Foods over in Rekha Nagar. Our place is directly opposite the New Police Colony. Having the police colony right across the street makes the area feel pretty safe and quiet for the most part. We handle a lot of basic food items, especially different kinds of oils. It’s a practical business. We don't have any fancy logos or a marketing team. It’s just us in the shop, making sure we have what people need for their kitchens. The neighborhood of Rekha Nagar is mostly families, so we see a lot of parents and kids coming by. We keep the shop pretty simple. There are rows of containers and bags everywhere you look. It’s a lot of lifting and moving stuff around, which keeps us busy all day. We started this because we wanted to have something of our own in this part of town. It isn't always easy, especially when prices go up or deliveries are late, but we manage to get by. We don't use any corporate talk or try to sound like a big chain. We are just a local shop trying to provide for the people nearby. Sometimes the street gets a bit blocked up with delivery vans, but the neighbors are usually patient with us. We just try to stay organized and keep the shelves full so that nobody leaves empty-handed. It's a basic job, but it's ours.
