Food Island is located right near Gondal Chowkdi, which is a spot most people in this area know well. We are right beside the HDFC Bank, so that’s usually the easiest way to tell people how to find us. If you hit Hotel Krishna Park, you’ve basically arrived at our doorstep. It’s a dusty, busy part of town with a lot of trucks and cars always moving through the junction. Being at Gondal Chowkdi means we are always in the thick of things. Our daily life involves a lot of coordination since we handle food supplies. It gets pretty hot around here during the summer months, so the office can feel like a bit of a sanctuary when we finally step inside. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just a group of us trying to make sure the orders are right and the bank visits are done on time. The proximity to the HDFC bank is actually quite handy because someone is always running over there for something. We’ve seen the area grow quite a bit since we started. There are more shops now and the traffic has definitely gotten worse, but the core of what we do stays the same. We take the food business seriously but keep the atmosphere pretty relaxed. We don't wear suits or have formal protocols. We just talk, work, and maybe grab a snack from one of the nearby stalls when we have a break.
