Fantastic Food Industries

Our place is right at Bhojapara on the Nh-8-B highway. That busy stretch of road means you can hear the heavy trucks rumbling past at almost every hour of the day and night. Fantastic Food Industries has been operating here for quite some time now. Most of our workers come from the nearby villages and they know the rhythm of the place better than anyone else. Inside the facility, the air is usually filled with the smell of whatever we happen to be processing that day. It isn't a fancy setup by any means. We have our machinery, our packing area, and a small corner for the paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of life around here. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or decorations. The floor is concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we do. Our days start early, usually before the sun is fully up, to beat the worst of the heat. We take our tea breaks together under the shade when we can. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We just focus on getting the bags filled and loaded onto the transport vehicles so they can get where they need to go. There is always a lot of dust from the road, but we just keep the doors mostly shut and get on with the shift.
