Our office is in Building No. G2- B Tower, part of the Leela Efcee complex near the Aksharwadi Temple. It is on Whagawadi Road, which is a fairly well-known part of the area. We work in the salt industry, but this location is more for our administrative side rather than the production itself. The office is a functional space where we manage the orders and the logistics of our salt works. We have a few desks, some computers that are usually humming, and a lot of files. You won't find any fancy decorations here; it’s mostly just shelves with samples and binders full of records. We spend most of our time coordinating with the production sites and making sure the transport is lined up. It can be a lot of back-and-forth communication, especially when there are delays at the pans or with the trucks. We are a small team and we’ve worked together for quite a while, so we don't need a lot of formal rules. The building is modern enough, but our daily work is very grounded in the practical realities of the salt trade. We don't have a marketing department or a big sales pitch. We just take the orders as they come in and do our best to keep things moving. It’s a lot of mundane tasks like checking weight bridge slips and updating ledgers, but it’s what keeps the business going day after day.
