Our place is located at E-5-b, right next to plots E-6 and 7 on B-road in the GIDC Lodhika area of Metoda. If you’re familiar with the 360021 area code, you probably know where this is. It’s a food processing setup. We spend most of our time dealing with ingredients and making sure everything is moving along the lines like it should. Adani Food Products has been here for a bit, and the neighborhood is mostly other factories and warehouses. It’s not the quietest part of town, especially when the trucks are coming in to unload. We’ve got a decent group of people working the shifts. Sometimes the humidity in Metoda makes things a bit tough, but we just get on with it. We don't spend money on big signs or bright lights. Most of our day is spent checking temperatures and making sure the packaging is right. It’s simple work, but it’s constant. You learn a lot about how food gets made when you spend ten hours a day on the floor. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just make the products and ship them out. The breakroom is small, and we usually talk about the local cricket scores or the weather. It’s just a normal workplace. We’ve got our routine down, from the morning start to the evening cleanup. That’s life here at the GIDC. Just regular people doing a regular job, making sure the crates are stacked and the floor is swept before we head home for the night.
