Ultra Tech Cement Rawan

This place is out in Grashim Vihar, specifically the Rawan area. It’s a heavy environment, lots of trucks coming and going at all hours. You can usually tell when a shipment is arriving because of the sound of the engines and the dust that kicks up from the road. We deal with a lot of cement bags here. Moving them around is hard work and keeps everyone tired by the end of the shift. The site is big and looks like any other industrial spot you’d find around here. We have a routine that we follow to make sure everything gets loaded and sent out to where it needs to go. There’s a lot of paperwork involved too, sitting at a desk and checking off lists while the sun beats down outside. The buildings are plain, just functional spaces for storage and office work. It’s not the kind of place people visit unless they have business to take care of. We spend a lot of time maintaining the equipment and making sure the area stays somewhat clear of debris. It’s a constant battle with the grit and the heat. People who work here have been doing it for years, so everyone knows the drill. It’s just about getting the product moved and keeping the operations running as smoothly as a place like this can. By the time we head home, everything is usually covered in a thin layer of grey powder.
