Ambuja Cement Eastern Limited

This is where the safety side of things happens for Ambuja Cement Eastern Limited. We are based out in Rawan, which is part of the Baloda Bazar district in Chhattisgarh. Specifically, the office is in the Raipur area with the pin 493331. Being a Jr. Officer here means keeping an eye on things every day. It’s a lot of walking around and making sure things are being done the right way. The heat in this part of the country can be pretty intense, so we try to get most of the outdoor stuff done early. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of checking lists and talking to the workers. The landscape around Baloda Bazar is mostly industrial, but there's a certain way of life here that we’ve grown used to. We don't have a big corporate headquarters vibe. It’s more of a field office feel. You might see some dust on our boots and some grease on the paperwork. That’s just how it goes when you’re working with cement and safety protocols. We don't spend much time on fancy letters or marketing. We just want to make sure everyone goes home safe at the end of their shift. The office is functional, nothing more. A few chairs, a desk, and some safety posters on the walls. It’s quiet sometimes, then really loud the next minute. We just take it as it comes.
