If you look for B-120 in Shanker Nagar, Raipur, you’ll find us there. Sri Valliammal School For Knowledge And Wisdom is a bit of a long name for such a straightforward place. We are a local school that focuses on the basic education of the kids in this neighborhood. The building is a standard size for this part of Chhattisgarh. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles or expensive technology in every room. It’s mostly just teachers, blackboards, and students. Every morning the kids line up for prayers and then they head into their rooms. The noise level stays pretty high until the final bell rings in the afternoon. We have a small area where students play during their break, but it’s nothing like a full-sized stadium. Most of the staff live nearby, so we see each other at the market or on the way to work. It makes the school feel more like a part of the local community. We don't do a lot of marketing or fancy brochures. People know us because their kids or their neighbors’ kids come here. It’s a practical environment. The desks are a bit scratched and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works well enough for teaching the basics. We just focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids are doing their homework. It’s a simple, honest way to run a school.
