Holy Mother Higher Secondary Public School

If you head down Mahadevghat Road in Daganiya, you’ll find us easily enough. Holy Mother Higher Secondary Public School has been part of this Raipur neighborhood for quite some time now. The traffic outside can get a bit loud, especially during the morning rush when everyone is heading to work. Inside the gates, it’s mostly just the sound of students talking or teachers finishing up a lesson. We have the older kids here since it’s a higher secondary school, so things are a bit more serious than a primary school, I suppose. The building is functional and solid. We don't have marble floors or anything like that. It is just brick and paint that needs a touch-up every few years. The staff room is always a bit cluttered with notebooks, half-empty water bottles, and tea cups. Raipur gets incredibly hot, so the ceiling fans are always going full blast in the summer. We keep the attendance registers updated and try to stay on top of the daily schedule. Most of our students live around the 492001 area, so they walk or ride their bicycles to get here. During the rainy season, the yard gets a bit muddy and we have to put down mats, but the kids don't seem to mind much. We just keep things moving along. There is always a project or an exam around the corner. It is a steady place to work and learn. Nothing too complicated about it, just a local school.
