Km Industries

Our spot is over at Gandhi Chowk, inside Prakash Bhawan in Nawapara Rajim. It is right in the middle of things, so there is always noise from the street. We’ve been here for a good amount of time now. The building is an old style, and we have quite a bit of space for the machines and the inventory. Some mornings it’s quite cold when we first open up the shutters, but once the work starts, the place warms up fast. We do industrial work, so there is usually some humming or clanking going on throughout the day. It isn't a quiet office. There are always people coming in with questions about parts or orders. Most of the staff has been with us for years, so we all know how the machines act on different days. Sometimes a part breaks down and we spend the whole afternoon trying to get it running again. We keep a pot of tea going in the back room for whoever needs a break. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time between the jobs coming in. There are metal scraps in the corners that we need to clear out one of these days. We just focus on getting the tasks done and keeping things organized enough so we can find our tools when a job comes in. It is a lot of hard work, and everyone is usually tired.
