Radiant Public School

We are situated along the Raipur Jagdalpur Road in New Raipur. This part of town is still developing, so there is a lot of open space around us. The school is a plain building that stands out when you are driving down the highway. We get kids from the surrounding areas and some who come in from the main Raipur city. The mornings are usually the busiest time because of the buses coming in. We have a small office near the entrance where parents come to ask questions or pay fees. It is not a very complicated setup. We have classrooms with the usual benches and boards. During lunch, the kids sit together and eat while the teachers take a break in the staff room. The playground gets a lot of use in the winter when the sun is not too hot. We try to keep the place tidy, though it is hard with so many students running around. Life at the school is pretty predictable. We follow the calendar, have the usual holidays, and prepare for the yearly functions. It is a practical place where we focus on the books and making sure the students attend their classes. Nothing more, nothing less. We just keep the lights on and the fans spinning. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, but we just sweep it out and start again the next morning. It is hard work but we are used to it.
