Lafarge

This location is a bit different because we are out at the Sonadih Limestone Mine. We are part of Lafarge India Pvt. Ltd. and our mailing address is Post Raseda, with the pin code 493 332. This is in the Raipur district of Chhattisgarh. Being at a mine means things are a bit more rugged here. It is not like an office in the city. There is a lot of dust and heavy machinery around. We work out of the main office area near the site. It’s a practical place built for function, not for looking good. We spend a lot of time coordinating between the mining site and the logistics teams. It’s hard work and the sun gets really strong out here in the plains. We are just a bunch of people making sure the limestone gets where it needs to go. There are no fancy meetings or corporate jargon here. We just talk about the day's output and what needs fixing. It’s a long way from the city, so we have to be pretty self-sufficient. We've got a good group of workers who know the land well. It’s a straightforward life out here in Raseda. We keep our heads down and focus on the production. That's how it's always been for us at this site. We don't need a lot of praise, we just need the machinery to keep running smoothly.
