Our address is Hig-77 in Shristy Colony, which sits on Kamla College Road over in Rajnandgaon. This part of Chhattisgarh is usually pretty calm compared to the bigger cities. Shristy Colony is a decent enough neighborhood, mostly families and people who have lived here for decades. Being on the road that leads to the college means we see a lot of students passing by on their bikes or walking in groups. The house we work out of is just a standard HIG house, nothing that stands out from the rest of the street. Inside, it is mostly just shelves and old furniture that has seen better days. We don't really bother with decorations or corporate branding on the walls. It is just a place to get the day's tasks done. The weather gets really dry and dusty during the summer months, which is common for Rajnandgaon. Sometimes the water supply is a bit finicky, but we manage. We have a small yard out front, though nobody really has time to garden. Most of the time, we are just sitting inside dealing with whatever work has piled up. It is a practical location because it is easy for people to find once they get onto Kamla College Road. We like the quiet pace of this area. It isn't like the hectic business districts you see elsewhere. It feels more like a home than a polished office space, and we are fine with that.
