This is the spot for the Sonadih Cement Plant over at D-7. You have to go via Baloda Bazar if you're coming from Raipur to find us. It’s a bit of a drive, but we are used to it by now. The plant stays busy round the clock. We spend most of our time out here making sure everything is running right. Dust gets everywhere, that is just part of the life here. My boots are usually grey by the end of the shift. We are not some big corporate office with shiny floors. It’s a working site. We see the same faces every morning. Most of us have been here since the plant started up. We eat our lunch together in the small break area. It is hot work in the summer months, but Raipur is like that. People call us when they need materials for building. We keep things moving as fast as we can. The road out to Baloda Bazar can be bumpy depending on the season. Sometimes the trucks get backed up. We just manage it. There's no secret to what we do. We make cement and we ship it out. It is a simple life and a simple business. We don’t do much advertising because everyone around here already knows where D-7 is. If you're looking for us, look for the tall structures near the plant gates. We’ll be there.
