Our space is a bit different because we're actually set up in Room 2 of Hostel No 2. This is right near the Sonadih site in Baloda Bazar, Raipur. It's not a huge office, just a room where we handle the paperwork for the cement operations. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside. We have a couple of desks and a lot of filing cabinets. Living and working in the same area means we are always close to the job. Some of the guys stay in the other rooms nearby. It feels more like a small community than a regular company. We walk over to the plant when we need to check on things. Raipur can be very dusty, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the windows. We don't have a big sign outside or anything fancy. People who need us usually just know which door to knock on. We’ve been based out of this hostel for a bit now. It works for what we need. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or use torches. We manage the local distribution from here. It is practical and saves us a long commute every day. You won't find any marble floors or air-conditioned lobbies here. It is just a plain room where the work happens. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure the drivers know their routes.
