Gurunanak Traders

Gurunanak Traders is situated right at Sanjay Gandhi Chowk on Station Road. Being just opposite Hotel Krishna makes us pretty easy to find if you’re coming from the railway station. It’s a very crowded area, so there’s always people walking by and rickshaws honking their horns. We deal in a bit of everything when it comes to trading supplies. The shop is usually overflowing with sacks and boxes, and we have to move stuff onto the pavement just to make room to walk inside. I’ve been running this place for years, and it feels like I’ve spent half my life at this chowk. We get a lot of travelers stopping by because they’re near the station, plus the locals who have been coming to us for a long time. It’s not a quiet job by any means. There’s always someone shouting for a price or a delivery driver trying to park their bike in a tiny space. We keep the books by hand mostly, though we have a computer tucked in the corner that we use sometimes for the bigger stuff. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about how the place looks. It’s just a typical trading business where we work long hours and deal with the chaos of Station Road. We don’t have any big corporate plans; we just want to keep the shop running and help the folks who walk through the door.
