Grasim Cement

Our workplace is set up in Quarter Number 4076 in the Grasim Vihar colony in Rawan. This is located in the Raipur district of Chhattisgarh. It is a residential quarter that we have turned into a workspace for our Grasim Cement operations. Being in a colony means it is a bit quieter than being on a main road, though you still hear the industrial sounds from the plant. We have some basic office furniture and a lot of cabinets for all the paperwork we have to keep. We manage the supply schedules and site reports from here. The team is quite small, so we all do a bit of everything. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a fancy lobby. It is just a place to work. We have a small kettle for making tea and coffee. The windows look out onto the other quarters and some trees. During the rainy season, the colony gets very green and the air feels a bit fresher. We are located at pin code 493196. Most of the people who come by are just other employees from the plant. We keep things very simple and straightforward. There is no corporate jargon used in our daily meetings. We just talk about what needs to be done for the day and then we do it. It is a very grounded way to work.
