Living and working here in Ambuja Colony at Po-Rawan feels like being in a small village of our own. Our address is A3/059, which is easy to find once you enter the colony area. It’s out here in Baloda Bazar, away from the main rush of Raipur city. The air is different here, often a bit dusty because of all the activity. We’ve got a tight-knit group of people working in this office. Most of us live right here in the quarters, so work and life kind of blend together. We start early before the Chhattisgarh sun gets too hot. There is always a lot of movement with trucks coming in and out of the plant area nearby. Inside the office, it’s mostly quiet except for the sound of the printers. We handle the local distribution and keep track of what’s happening in the yard. Sometimes we sit outside during lunch if there is a bit of a breeze. It’s a practical life. We don’t have fancy carpets or glass walls. It’s just sturdy desks and people who have been doing this for years. You get used to the rhythm of the machinery in the distance. When someone comes by to visit, we usually have some cold water or tea ready. It’s just how things are done here in Rawan. We aren't doing anything flashy, just the daily grind of the cement business.
