We have been set up here at Ayodhya Nagar on the G.H. Board Link Road for quite some time now. Bharuch gets really dusty during the dry months, especially with all the heavy trucks moving around this part of town. Ambuja Cements Ltd isn't just a big name on a sign to us; it is what we deal with every single morning. Usually, the day starts pretty early when the metal shutters go up and the first round of tea is made. Someone is always poking their head in to ask about the current stock or when the next load is coming in from the main plant. It is not a fancy office by any means. It is just a practical place to get the work done. You mostly see the same faces every day—local contractors, folks building a small extension on their house, or drivers who look like they have had a very long night on the highway. We try to keep everything organized, but sometimes the paperwork just piles up on the desks. That is just how it goes when things are busy. Most of our hours are spent checking the counts and making sure the stacks are straight in the back. It is physical work. If you are driving down the link road, you really cannot miss our gate. We do not spend much time on fancy talk or meetings. We just focus on getting the bags out to whoever needs them that day.
