Ambuja Cement Limited

Our spot is in Saket Colony, which is right near the Anandmarg School in Katulbod. If you are in Durg, you probably know the area. The school can be quite loud during recess, with all the kids running around and shouting. We are used to it by now. The colony itself is fairly quiet otherwise. At Ambuja Cement Limited, we have a pretty basic setup. It is just a ground-floor space where we manage the local distribution. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving things around, and the floor usually has a fine layer of grey dust on it. That is just the nature of the business. We start our day early, checking the inventory and making sure the orders are ready for the morning shift. The Chhattisgarh sun is no joke, so we try to get the heavy lifting done before it gets too hot in the afternoon. We have a few regular drivers who come through, and we usually have a quick chat while they wait for their papers. We do not have any polished marketing materials or a fancy reception area. If someone comes in, they just walk right up to the desk and ask. We talk about the local news or how the roads are holding up after the rain. It is a simple, honest way to spend the day. We finish up when the work is done, usually just as the school is letting out for the day and the kids go home.
