Kukreti School Dress Garment Store

Our little shop is located in Row House 1 at Nakul Chs in Sector 3. New Panvel can get quite busy during the start of a new school term and that is when we are the most crowded. The shelves are packed with stacks of uniforms and different sizes for the local schools around here. We spend a lot of time folding clothes and making sure everything is in the right pile. Sometimes a parent comes in and we have to dig through the back to find a specific size that isn't on the shelf. It gets a bit dusty with all the fabric but that is just part of having a garment store. We have been here in Navi Mumbai for a while now and we know most of the people who walk past our door. The morning usually starts with us opening up the shutters and sweeping the front. We do not have a big fancy setup but it works for what we need. People come in with their kids and there is usually a bit of complaining about how fast the children are growing. We just listen and help them find what they need. It is a practical business and we keep things straightforward. The garments arrive in big bundles and we have to sort them all out by hand. It is a lot of manual work but it keeps the day moving.
