Nirmals The Punjabi Dhaba

We have been here at Shop No 3 in the Twins Tower for a while now. If you know Sector 20 in Kharghar, you probably know where we are, right across from the Cidico Garden. It gets quite busy around here, especially in the evenings when families come out to walk in the park or people are coming home to Jalvayu Vihar Phase 1. Our place, Nirmals The Punjabi Dhaba, isn't anything fancy. It’s just a regular spot where we cook up food every day. We start early in the morning getting the kitchen ready. There is always a lot of chopping and cleaning to do before the first person walks in. Sometimes the heat from the stoves gets a bit much, but that is just part of working in a dhaba. People come in for a quick bite or sometimes stay longer with their friends. We see the same faces quite often, people who live in the towers nearby or work in the local shops. It feels like a small community here in this part of Navi Mumbai. We try to keep things simple and just focus on getting the orders out on time. The traffic on the road can be a bit loud, but inside we just keep busy with the pots and pans. It is a lot of hard work every single day, and we are usually tired by the end of it, but that is how a business runs.
