Shree Samarth Krupa Hotel Dhaba

We've been here on the Old Mumbai Pune Highway for a while now. Most people find us because we are right near the S K Wheels showroom in Khopoli. It’s a busy road and the trucks keep going by all day and night. We started this dhaba to give people a place to sit down and eat something simple while they are traveling between the cities. It isn't a fancy place with decorations. We just have tables and chairs and we try to keep things clean enough for families who stop over. Sometimes the highway gets very loud but that is just how it is in Khopoli. Our staff is mostly local guys from around the Raigad area. They know the roads well. We usually open early and stay open late because you never know when someone will get hungry on a long drive. The kitchen is always going. We don’t have any big speeches about what we do. We just make the food and serve it to whoever walks in the door. If you are heading towards Pune or going back to Mumbai, you will see our sign. It’s practical for a quick stop. We've seen the highway change a lot over the years but we stay right here. It's a lot of work running a dhaba but it keeps us busy. We just hope the tea is hot and the food fills your stomach before you get back on the road.
